We're voluntarily recalling Vornado VH110 heaters built in 2013 and sold from June 2013 to May 2014 due to a safety issue. Vornado has received 29 reports of units overheating and melting, including seven reports of heaters catching fire, resulting in one report of smoke inhalation and one report of property damage caused by soot and smoke.
If you own a VH110 Whole Room heater, discontinue usage immediately and follow the instructions below to determine if your heater has been recalled. For personal assistance with this process, call toll-free at (844) 205-7978 Monday - Friday. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT
The safety of our customers is our absolute priority.
Turn off your VH110 and unplug the heater.
On the bottom of your VH110 you will see a silver sticker. On that sticker is an 11 digit serial number – formatted as you see below and in the image to the right.
Disabling your heater is mandatory to receive your free replacement. It allows us to verify that the heater cannot be accidentally used or resold, and allows us to ship your replacement as quickly as possible.
Our goal is to make the verification and replacement process as quick, simple and satisfying as possible. We have several methods to fit our customer’s needs. Choose one of the options below, or call us at 1-844-205-7978 to get help from Vornado Consumer Service.
